The oligarchy US defend its class interests and maintain control of political power at the national level on the basis of secret societies such as Skull & Bones or exclusive clubs like the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR). Internationally, it uses elitist groups, such as the Bilderberg group that seeks to integrate its project oligarchies other countries to the emergence of global governance. Our colleague Patrick Woodexplains how the Trilateral Commission, another piece of this complex system, whose role was recently brought to light with the appointment of the head of his section Europe, Mario Monti, as Italian Prime Minister.
During its first ten days of his presidency, Barack Obama has appointed eleven
senior officials from the Trilateral Commission in key positions in his administration, thus introducing a powerful external force in the leadership of his government, but with an agenda covering
the basic more harm to the citizens of the United States.
In addition to these appointments, Obama called the White House more illustrious members of the Trilateral Commission, including Zbigniew Brzezinski, his chief foreign policy advisor. Brzezinski is co-founder of the Commission (1973) with David Rockefeller.
The Trilateral Commission has a responsibility in the current state of the world. It was formed in 1973 as a global forum of "thinkers", became the architects of the turn taken by multinational capitalism in the sense of a radicalization of the Keynesian school of thought the most classic of the economy: the role of government, intensified exploitation of the work world, world military hegemony of the richest countries in the world and their transnational companies.
The Trilateral Commission is a kind of world major political party. According to its website, it was created by personalities from Japan, the European Union and North America (U.S. and Canada) in order to promote and build closer cooperation between the main democratic and industrialized regions of the world [as opposed to the socialist camp at the time] to share responsibility for the direction of a broader international system.
According to its official list, the Trilateral Commission has 424 members, of which only 87 are Americans. Thus, during its first two weeks at the White House, the number of government officials appointed by Obama is 12% of the U.S. representation to the Commission. It maintains links with many others the Trilateral Commission, such as the presence as a permanent member of William Jefferson Clinton, the husband of the Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. Here are the eleven persons appointed by Obama:
Tim Geithner, Treasury Secretary
Susan Rice, ambassador to the United Nations
General James L. Jones, National Security Advisor
Thomas Donilon, counselor for national security
Paul Volker, Chairman of the Commission for economic recovery
Admiral Dennis C. Blair, Director of National Intelligence
Kurt M. Campbell, Assistant Secretary of State for Asia and the Pacific
James Steinberg, Deputy Secretary of State
Richard Haass, Special Envoy of the State Department
Dennis Ross, Special Envoy of the State Department
Richard Holbrooke, special envoy of the State Department
The Obama administration and the Trilateral Commission maintain many other links. For example, note that the informal group of advisers to the Treasury Secretary, Tim Geithner, meets members of the Commission E. Gerald Corrigan, a banker and former chairman of the Federal Reserve, Paul Volker, now the brains behind Obama's economic recovery, Alan Greenspan, the last head of the Federal Reserve, and Peter G. Paterson, a prominent banker and investor.
A recent graduate of the University, Geithner immediately began serving the
"trilateral" Henry Kissinger, Kissinger & Associates offices. Another member of the Trilateral Commission, General Brent Scowcroft, a merchant who became a banker, was
Obama's informal adviser and mentor of current Defense Secretary Robert Gates. Robert Zoelick, former Secretary of Commerce and current president of the World Bank appointed
under the Bush administration, is also a member of the Commission.
The website reports: "The Trilateral Commission is composed of nearly 400 famous names from business, media, universities, utilities (excluding current national Cabinet Ministers), labor and other NGOs in the three regions. Three presidents (one in each of the above three parts of the world), regional presidents, vice-president and directors constitute the leadership of the Trilateral Commission, in collaboration with an Executive Committee including about forty members. "
Since 1973, the Trilateral Commission meets regularly in plenary sessions to discuss political manifestos developed by its members. Policies are discussed until a consensus. Members return to their countries to implement or enforce policies and approved by consensus. The initial target group was the establishment of a "New International Economic Order" [what we now call globalization]. His speech today encourages a "closer cooperation among democratic industrialized areas of the dominant world who assume shared responsibilities in the conduct of an international expanded."
Since the Carter administration, members of the Trilateral Commission have exercised their influence to senior positions controlled by the government of the United States: six of the last eight presidents of the World Bank presidents and vice presidents of the United States (except for Obama and Biden), more than half of all state secretaries of the United States, and three quarters of the Secretaries of Defense.
During 2009-2012, the agenda of the Commission based on two main beliefs. First, the Trilateral Commission is expected to play a greater role than ever to preserve the rich countries shared leadership in a broader international system. Second, the Commission "will expand its scope to reflect broader changes in the world." Thus, the Japanese group has developed into Asia Pacific Group, which includes members from China and India, while figures from Mexico have joined the Group in North America (Canada and USA). Europe and the Group continues to grow with the enlargement of the European Union.

The question of "undue influence" challenges us, when we see the number of members of the Trilateral Commission appointed to high positions in the Obama administration. They have a stranglehold on areas related to our most pressing national need: financial and economic crisis, national security and foreign policy.
Conflict of interest is obvious. With 75% of non-US, what influence the overwhelming majority still does exercise over the remaining 25%? For example, when Chrysler was under the protection and control of the U.S. law on bankruptcy in the bailout of the Obama administration, an agreement was reached in haste with the Italian group Fiat to save the company. The person appointed to conclude the agreement was the Secretary of the Treasury or Finance Minister Timothy Geithner, Member of the Trilateral Commission. Would you be surprised if you were told that the chairman of Fiat, Luca di Montezemolo, is also a member of the Commission? Congress should prohibit the partnership when it was suggested.
Many European members of the Trilateral Commission are also executives of the European Union. What political and economic oscillations Are submitted by the U.S. branch?
How about a poll on the issue, the vast majority of US nationals would say that the affairs of the United States belong to them, and must be closed to foreign influence-driven programs that are not Americans. But the vast majority of US citizen has no idea of what the Trilateral Commission, let alone the enormous power it has usurped since 1976, when Jimmy Carter was the first member of the Trilateral elected president of the United States.
In light of the current financial crisis without precedent, the "trilateral" would be doomed to execration if they read the statements of Zbigniew Brzezinski (co-founder of the Commission with David Rockefeller) reported in his book published in 1971 entitled "Between ages: the role of America in the technotronic era ".Brzezinski noted: "The nation-state as the basic unit of organized life of man, has ceased to be the principal creative force: International banks and multinational corporations are [now] the actors and architects in the sense that once took those words applied to the nation-state. " [In other words, he threw in the closet the basic concepts of nation-state, sovereignty of the country and the role of government in society, to defend the vision of a world governed by the banks and transnational corporations ].
This is exactly what we see in all spheres. Banks and global corporations are circles which tighten around the nation-state, including the United States. They have no respect for any process, nor Congress, nor the will of the people.
Why have they kept the US citizens in the dark on an issue that undermines the very foundations of our country?
The Trilateral Commission control the major media
The answer is simple: among the owners of mass media many members of the Trilateral Commission, and they can divert the relevant information but disturbing.Among these makers include:
David Bradley, president of Atlantic Media Company.
Karen Elliot House, former senior vice president of Dow Jones & Company, and publisher of The Wall Street Journal, owned by Rupert Murdoch.
Richard Plepler, co-president of HBO.
Charlie Rose, PBS, Public Radio and Television of the United States.
Fareed Zakaria, editor of Newsweek
Mortimer Zuckerman, president of the U. S. News & World Reports.
There are many other connections with senior management of the media, resulting from membership or participation in the control levers of transnational and commonshareholders.
